the girl with the vail

the girl i saw was covered fully in black. she had a Vail over her head.
only her large eyes visible from the opening in the head scarf.
when she first saw us she stared at us with suspicion as well as curiosity.
she welcomed us in to her home and set elegantly next to us.
there was an elderly man on the traditional 'undholi' across the room.
her hands nicely kept on her knees.
it was difficult at first to understand her words as i could’nt see her mouth.
during our conversation we made her laugh and her eyes twinkled with glee.
it was an amazing site, to see all her emotions through her eyes.
the only visible part in her body.

The eyes can speak and emote a lot.

Cases in point:

1) Holly Hunter as a mute in the Oscar-winning "The Piano"

2) The female robot Eva in "Wall-E" where we see emotions only through her eyes.

Cheers.

it wasn’t only the eyes that spoke the about the glee n smile she had..But the quivering voice, with the edges and changes in the pitch that made glints and blinks in the eyes,... though the whole face wasn’t visible... it wasn’t needed to express what she felt... jus the voice n eyes were enough!

Loved how u expressed what we experienced mutually: D rightly worded!
